Latest Technology - Tytron C-5000 Thermography

Here at Mifflintown Family Chiropractic, we employ the latest technology to access the impact of stress in your life.

What is the Tytron C-5000 Thermography?

A computerized, non-invasive & painless test consisting of thermal and surface electromyology (SEMG).

Why should I get a scan of my nervous system?
The benefits of these scans are to detect and pinpoint abnormal function which cannot be seen on X-ray and are generally not felt in the form of pain until the damage is severe; Much like a heart attack. The scans will show if there is any Subluxation (stress) on your nervous system and how it is affecting your organs, glands, muscles & energy level.

How will this test benefit me?
These computerized scans will let you know if chiropractic can help you.

Does the Tytron C-5000 Thermography test hurt?
Absolutely not. These test do not utilize any needles, electric shock, or heat whatsoever.

Thermal Scan:
The scanner will measure the temperature on each side of your spine. Your skin temperature is controlled by the autonomic nervous system which is that part of the nervous system that you don't have to think about. Such as heartrate, breathing, all organ function, and much more. Studies at John Hopkins University show that the body temperature on the left and right sides of your spine should be the same. A difference of body temperature on the right or the left sides of your spine indicates stress on your autonomic nerves (Subluxation). The test enables us to determine what organs may be affected and the severity of the stress.

Surface Electromyograph (SEMG):
SEMG will measure how your motor nerves are working. This is the part of your nervous system controlling muscles & movement. The more your muscles contract...the more electrical activity. We are able to measure the amount of muscle spasms or weakness which may indicate stress to your nervous system caused by Subluxation.

Muscle Balance (Symmetry):
If one or more vertebrae are out of their normal position, it disturbs the nerve function. This disturbance will cause an abnormal amount of flow to the muscles on either side of the spine. As a result of this disturbance, the muscles can become weaker, tighter, or fatigued. This is measured through the SEMG.

Drs. Mark & Tami DeBenedetto have joined a growing number of high tech chiropractic doctors that have upgraded their level of care to better assess the health and wellbeing of their community. People can now be examined by the Tytron C-5000, a non-invasive technology which is a neuro-spinal screening and evaluation system originally designed to measure changes in the spinal muscles of astronauts caused by space flight. It is painless, economical, and only takes minutes.

Drs. Mark & Tami DeBenedetto use the Tytron C-5000 technology to help measure subluxations, which are misalignments of the spine that cause nerve interference. These spinal misalignments disturb the muscles regular nerve function, causing an abnormal amount of electrical flow to the muscles and create other health problems. The Tytron C-5000 measures the electrical flow and charts it, using graphics that show the spine. This helps specify precisely when chiropractors should adjust their patients, allowing for increased accuracy in diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes.

"We are extremely excited to be able to bring this breakthrough technology to our office and patients," states Dr. DeBenedetto. "Providing the highest level of care for the people is the goal and purpose of our office."
