Growing up in Hinsdale Hew Hampshire, Dr. Tami developed her love for health and fitness at an early age. Playing field hockey in high school she was a 4 year starter. She was MVP in 1981 and a significant contributor to winning a State Championship Title in 1983. She developed a passion for optimal health and performance and today is an avid runner. She recently completed the Harrisburg Half marathon (13 miles) and the Harrisburg marathon (26 miles). Dr. Tami’s first encounter with chiropractic was in high school when she watched her mother successfully treated for carpal Tunnel Syndrome. She was so impressed with the results of chiropractic care that she decided she would one day become a chiropractor.

After high school Dr. Tami went to Russell Sage College in Troy New York. After graduating from Russell Sage, she attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. She excelled in Chiropractic college graduating on the prestigious Presidents List.

After graduating from Palmer College, Dr. Tami practiced as an associate doctor at a busy chiropractic office near Pittsburgh. In October of 1991 Dr. Tami moved her practice to Mifflintown and opened Mifflintown Family Chiropractic. For over 30 years Dr. Tami has practiced with her husband Dr. Mark and together have treated over 7000 patients.
She has traveled thousands of miles taking numerous continuing education seminars. Her goal is to bring the most up-to-date and advanced knowledge on chiropractic today to her patients.

Dr. Tami focuses on family chiropractic care with special attention to treating children. Her life purpose and the mission of the entire Mifflintown Family Chiropractic team is to educate and adjust as many families as possible toward optimal health through natural chiropractic care. She is always working to improve quality of service and care provided at Mifflintown Family Chiropractic with continual focus on post graduate education that brings the latest advances in chiropractic to her patients. One such advancement is the Tytron C-5000 which will help the doctors pinpoint subluxations by utilizing SEMG and thermography(See Latest Technology). Just a few years ago, Mifflintown Family Chiropractic upgraded to digital x-ray. By adding Biokinemetrics ChiroSight Digital X-ray to our practice we continue to strive to be on the cutting edge of technology and providing the BEST chiropractic care possible to our patients! By combining Digital and High Frequency x-ray to our practice you can feel confident you are receiving the most advanced, razor-sharp, safest  chiropractic radiology exam offered. The ChiroSight software is the ONLY digital x-ray software designed specifically for chiropractic use. ChiroSight improves our ability to diagnose, treat and communicate with our patients which in turn leads to a better outcomes!  We will continue to strive and improve our practice to offer the most advanced chiropractic care possible.

Dr. Tami has two wonderful children. A twenty-seven year old daughter named Michaela who graduated from Indiana University and a twenty-four year old son named Matthew who graduated from Lafayette College and is now attending Palmer College of Chiropractic. She has been very involved in their activities and has served in many roles for their teams. She also enjoys supporting her favorite sports teams. Her favorite college team is Penn State University. She is also a New England Patriot and Boston Red Sox Fan! She gets the most FUN rooting for any team that Dr. Mark’s beloved New York Giants and New York Mets are playing.
